After over 15 years, as of 2009, polo can be played in Engadin also in the summer again – thanks to St. Moritz Polo AG’s new all weather riding field. St. Moritz Polo AG is thus taking a further step to establish Engadin as an important horse riding destination also in summer. This claim is underpinned by the construction of an extensive training centre in order to support the next generation of polo players in particular. Ten horses wait to be ridden in the Stalla Bodmer. With Manuel Cereceda, an Argentinean polo player with a 3 goal handicap, we have secured an excellent polo trainer who is highly qualified for introducing first steps with stick and ball and for individual lessons for the professional polo player.
All St. Moritz Polo Club members are also welcome and can, for example, train their own horse for polo playing – or even themselves to become a future polo player.
