Polo St. Moritz

Some of the world’s most famous polo events bear our signature: every year thousands of polo fans make the pilgrimage to the Engadin for the St. Moritz Polo World Cup on Snow. The employees of St. Moritz Polo Corporation offer advice on international projects to promote the sport of polo and animal welfare.

For many years now, the St. Moritz Polo Club has maintained a partnership with the Guards Polo Club of England, founded in 1955 by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. St. Moritz Polo Corporation offers its members reciprocal club membership, so our club members enjoy the pleasure and honour of automatically becoming members of the Guards Polo Club.

Polo originally has its roots in Mongolia, from where the sport spread to India and on to Europe and America. The Mongolian Khan Polo Club is building a polo organisation based on international standards – with the advice of St. Moritz Polo Corporation. The stables, which will provide space for 40 to 50 ponies, along with two grass arenas and a sand arena, are currently being built for the Club. Next, the clubhouse will be built, which will be a fusion of European and Asian architecture, while the Club slowly starts operation. The goal is to build up its own polo team and to organise an international polo tournament in the near future.
